We’ve compiled some of our favorite places to take a selfie in Preston because lets be honest, who doesn’t love a good selfie?
- The Trout. Ok, if you’ve ever driven through Preston in the warmer months you can’t miss THE TROUT. It typically rests along HWY 52 just across from B&B Bowl. Several people stop here each year to snag a selfie with it! It’s definitely a big catch!
- Next up is the beautiful art mural that hangs above Preston City Hall at 210 Fillmore Street. The Preston Area Arts Council did an amazing job on this project. The colors are vibrant and it represents nearly every single piece of our culture and our community. The coolest part is that the painting was done by community members. People of all ages had a part in creating this masterpiece! You won’t find a mural like it!
- Preston has rich history and this next stop proves it. The Historic Campus located at the Trailhead in Preston just off of Fillmore Street is a great spot to take in some of Preston’s railroad and agriculture history. You don’t have to be a history buff to admit that our historical campus is colorful and interesting. Take a selfie with the caboose or the elevator and you’ll have a unique historic photo that makes it look like you’re back in the 1800’s riding the rails!
- Last but not least, take a stop at the Army Tank also located at the Trailhead. You don’t get an opportunity to take a photo with an army tank very often! You can read all about how it got to Preston in the first place while you’re there. In Veteran Friendly Preston, this is a must see!
Don’t forget to hashtag your photos with #onlyinmn #gethookedonpreston and #prestonmn when you post them to social media! We love to see the faces of our visitors!
